Building Skills and Friendships, One Frame at a Time

Service Bowl Youth Leagues at Pheasant Lanes are the heart of junior bowling in Bloomington-Normal. Our leagues are designed to bring out the best in every young bowler, regardless of skill level. From first-timers in the Alley Gators program (ages 3 to 5) to competitive teens aiming for scholarship tournaments, every child finds their place on the lanes. We commit to a 'no child sits on the bench' philosophy, ensuring that every participant is actively engaged each week. Located on Hershey Road across from Culver’s, our 32-lane facility provides the space, technology, and energy that make youth bowling a true family activity. Volunteer coaches are Safe Sport registered and background checked every six months, giving parents peace of mind. Our leagues run August through July, with registration open for all ages and experience levels. If you’re seeking a safe, fun, and skill-focused activity for your child, Service Bowl Youth Leagues are the trusted local destination.

A Safe and Supportive Place to Bowl

Certified Coaches and Proven Safety Protocols

Parents trust Service Bowl Youth Leagues because safety and positive development come first. All of our volunteer coaches are Safe Sport certified and re-verified as part of the Registered Volunteer Program (RVP) every six months. This commitment ensures that your child learns from experienced, trusted adults in a secure environment. Our coaches focus on skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship, creating a community where every child can grow on and off the lanes. The 'no child sits on the bench' approach gives each participant equal playtime and attention, helping shy or new bowlers feel included. Scholarship opportunities through the SMART Program and USBC-sanctioned tournaments give ambitious youth a path to recognition and college funding. With a longstanding reputation for family fun and community trust since 1983, Pheasant Lanes is the place where kids and parents feel at home.
